Becoming part of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a great way to assist and give back to your community. The CERT program educates residents about disaster preparedness and how to respond to emergency situations in their community. When emergencies happen, CERT members can give critical support to first responders and provide immediate assistance to victims at a disaster site. CERT members can also help with non-emergency projects that help improve the safety of the community.
